Hi David J For the money, A Bernal Prodigio is a good value, and I dont think you'll find many better options. And I also like that they are true flamenco guitars with a good flamenco sound. Not so loud, but very correct. I've seen a couple of them and consistency is quite good. Beside, resale value is high. About money, I can't remember how much now. My advice would be simple: don´t go to Jerez, go to Valencia. Visit Ricardo Sanchis Carpio and buy one of his cheaper models. Or tour the other talleres: people call them factories but this seems a misnomer to me. Suerte Sean
