I hear you have an Hermanos Sanchis Lopez 1F Cipres guitar.
Are the rumors true?

Try some Savarez strings. They make things sound silky good... .hmmmmm
You just have to arrive at it over time, your string preference with each new guitar. I think of Savarez and D'addarios as kind of opposites, try both ends of the spectrum.

For trebles I recommend you try out D'addario normal titanium or oasis normal titanium. I am using the D'addario's on my negra and they sound beautiful. For bases just get luthier 30s or even D'addario hard or normal tension

They feel perfect in my hands. But also keep in mind my modified classical guitar that I have been using since I started playing flamenco (about 9 months) is strung with extra hard tension d'addario so I could achieve extremely low action.

Try La Bella 2001 Black Nylon trebles. They're great for flamenco.

I have a Sanchis Lopez 'Rafael Cortes' model. I use high tension La bella flamenco 2001, these strings don't work for me on other guitars but I like them on this Sanchis. My right hand prefers guitars with stiff pulsation and also high tension strings.

But every guitar is different and so is every player, I would suggest try a few different brands and discover what works for you. 'High'/'medium'/'low' string tension is not standardised and does vary a little between brands, so it's worth experimenting there also.

D'addario normal tension titaniums. By far the most consistant strings and I pretty much use them on all my guitars. La bella blacks are ok but I have yet to buy a duff set of D'addarios. I would say the composites are better for classical.
I really am not a fan of Savarez trebles. I know they are considered standard to some players but thats only because it was difficult to get any other kind of strings in Spain up until several years ago. They have a strange texture and do no not have such a consistant intonation. Saying all that its down to personal preference to some degree.

Odd, coincidence. But the exact string combo I use on my guitars, and will
continue to use until I can't buy them anymore.

That's because for some people and certain guitars it's an excellent combo. Used to do it myself.

The D'Adarrio trebles never wear out, so the 10 or so sets I have will last for
the next 100 years+, and the Savarez bass's sound totally unique, and I prefer
them to any other bass I've ever played. So that's the combo that I've used
for the past couple years.

Trebles, unless I use a carbon, or the black LaBella's I pretty much can't tell any
difference between any of them. So the D 'Addario's work as well as all the rest.

Surprised actually with all the string discussion why people don't talk about the
Savarez more, as they really are a nice string.

The only strings that break on my guitars while sitting in the case, LaBella 820-B's
has happened on three occasions. Really hate those strings.

Best of luck with those. :)

Regards,
Jeff
