wow im amazed how well they fitted the video to the backing track, so that everything is in rhythm. really good work! and the song has some potential too, i really like the backing.

if you want to play along, the chords are Gminor, Cminor, and Dminor. you can make any of those a 7th. there's a EbMajor7 too.

Good video...I gave my daughter the link and she downloaded it on her iPhone on the bus to college and said it picked her mood up, as the bus.. "was full of moaning old people and screaming kids"..

the itunes store song is doing really well. i even considered buy it myself! so they're definitely making a few bucks but unfortunately, they still haven't found the attacker... they must have scared him off good.

To the topic: would you find it too ironic if i told you that with this video, which basically makes fun of them, partly because of them "being black", they could finance to move out from the "projects"?

i dont think it's really making fun of them because they're black. i think it's funny because antoine is outrageous.

it'd be the same if it was some white lady with a southern accent being outrageous, saying funny things that had the potential to become viral catchphrases.

You have that backwards Leo--homie is a shortened version of homeboy. Home boy means "home town boy"--i. e., a person who is from the same town as you. It's more significant when two people from the same town are in a distant location at the same time--the sort of thing that happens frequently in the military. These two people may not actually have been friends at home but have a bond because of their shared origin. Homes is a mispronounced version of Holmes--as in Sherlock Holmes...

sure Anthony, then it would be making fun of her having a southern accent, or her acting like other things one expects from southern people (i dont know, something like that). I dont mean it in a rassistic way of course.
