yeah, a good indication is when he snaps with the fingers (like at 1.30)

I'd have to disagree about the snaps - they sound very 3-beat to me.

It clearly finishes por tangos, with the lere lere salida, but that comes out of nowhere.

Early on it could be anything, it's so libre. Solea possibly. I've heard snaps timed like that in unaccompanied solea.

It's the tangos "Viaje al Cielo" off of Momentos.
