After much effort I have finally grown a decent nail on my little finger. Now I'm ready to try those e,a,m,i rasgueados. I'm going to see if its worth the effort.
5 finger rasgueos, four finger tremelos, here I come.....

Ricardo - here is a case where e doesnt equal mc squared

These 5 finger rasgueos just sound messy to me. Ok I know Im not acustomed to using my ring finger but it kind of feels more like its in the way than actually being useful. Its pretty weak compared to the other fingers and the rasgueos dont sound even at all. It may well be a bit late for me to start using my little finger after so many years without using it.

I agree with Kozz.
Try practising 4 finger ras but instead of amii, move everything over one and practise eamm. Slowly and gradually. That way you'll start feel like the e finger belongs to the hand...
