Porefilling the soundboard 

Do you do that? Why?

Don't know. I have tried both ways.

Pore filling the top gives a huge jump start for french polishing. Of course I didn't fill the pores with epoxy but with egg white and another time with water based finish. Both sand well with an orbit sander.

When filling the rosette, I do a light runover with pumice on the soundboard. The same as I and others do on the sides of a blanca when filling the bindings.
