Hi Alex,

You should try out Luthier strings
http://www.stringsbymail.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_60_93
They have a really good sound and long life.
The best I've tried.

Hope that helps

strings by mail is a great place to get your strings.

d'addario is a good starting place. they're the cheapest but you might find that they're the best.

My Pedro De Miguel Negra hates Luthier's and loves D'Addario's. My Pedro
De Miguel Blanca loves Luthier's, and hates D'Addario's ...

I have a friend with a Vincente Carillo blanca that sounds awesome with
Luthier's, but rather dead with D'Addario's

Each guitar is unique for strings.

Regards,
Jeff

Has anybody tried different strings on Sanches Lopez (2F-05) guitars?
If so, what is the best string for this guitar in your experience?

D'Addario Composites are the best I have found. I like the "G" string especially. At first they were horrible - worse than any I have had in a long time regarding pitch. Then, they came around and have kept the kind of tone that I like ever since (over a month).

it's not just about the guitar. it's about your fingers and your playing style too. plus, every guitar is different, even the ones with the same brand and model number. good luck!

Agreed! The basses didn't last 4-6 times as long as advertised though.
