whats yours btw ? i know u nuts about the cante but i am not sure it ever came up...do you play too ? Hola Florian When I lived in Ireland I co-founded the Peña Flamenca, and accompanied dance in all our shows (we had no singer ). When I moved to Cádiz, I played in dance classes for a couple of professional teachers but abandoned it to accompany cante. My great friend, José Millán, was the most complete cantaor in Cádiz and I accompanied him in many juergas, baptisms, weddings etc. He taught me to accompany many strange things, such as marianas, romeras, mirabrás, caña, polo etc. Sadly José died last year and his death affected me greatly. I have now sold one guitar and stored away the other. (Wanna buy a cheap Gerundino????¿¿¿¿)I am working in the studio to compile a CD of the live cante of José, which I can give to his friends and family, and to the Centro Flamenco as a historical document. I have managed to compile Alegrías de Cádiz, Fandangos de Macandé y de la Gloria, Caracoles, Malagueña de el Mellizo, Tientos/Tangos, Bulerías de Cádiz, Romeras, Soleares, Mirabrás. Quality is not great, but it is a valuable document for his family and for the history of flamenco in Cádiz. I hope to finish mixing it next week, but it will not be for sale. Suerte Sean
