Master class en Compás por solea

This is a recording of a Master class given by Pablo Maldonado, a good friend of ours. It is in Spanish but I think is reasonably easy to understand in context. I posted it originally in resources but have been told it's better to put it here in General discussion so more people see it.

Hope it is useful for the forum, and maybe will help a little for those learning Spanish.

Just ask me. I'll try and translate a little if i can. When I first met Pablo it took me ages to understand him as he talks so fast.

The most important though is un, dos, tres, cuatro cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez.

Hi Kate,
Well after studying "Curso d'Andalu", of course I understood everything perfectly.

An interesting thing I got out of it is how moving from the "on" beat to the "off" beat (on guitar), on the last verse keeps the whole thing moving and setting you up for the next copla.

ha ha ha. Don't you just love how they talk here ! Makes me think of Scotland

I'm glad you got something from it. Pablo knows his stuff. You'd like him very much so keep practicing your Andaluz ! Pablo is working hard on his English. He phones me and talks English with an Andaluz accent a which sounds sort of Portuguese
