Rondena dance accompanyment

Hey guys,

I'll be accompanying a dance workshop for Rondena in June and had a couple questions. I've listened to a number of versions, all of which are slightly different. There is a structure I know, but counting out the verses it seems to me that sometimes the length isn't always exactly the same. Whether the singer sometimes starts a bit earlier, I'm not sure.

In any case, could anyone help me out with any info I should have about Rondena? I’ve accompanied a Rondena choreography before, have a typical intro down, a simple falseta, a part for the feet. She only told me just to check out the Mayte Martin verse from the Querencia album.

The dancer giving the workshop is Vicky Barea, a very very very good dancer from Seville, which is why I want to be as well prepared as possible.

Thanks,
John

No no, there's a rhythmic Rondena which is danced and sung as well, verse is very similar to the fandango.
