Spanish internet radio???

Hi everyone.

It would be great if someone could recommend a good spanish internet flamenco radio. (if it exists)
I would like to be more upfront on CD´s, shows etc. and I dont like to much reading internet magazines etc.
I like very much listening to the radio in my workshop. I like that there´s someone speaking about what I listen to.

Thanks

The foro is getting really buggy. took me 3 times to post this message

A really good one was mentioned in this thread. Here's another one.

Just discovered this one.

And I agree, the random problems with posting and such is starting to become aggravating. I had to try twice to post this!

Yeah, it sucks With the internet cable in the sea being repaired and then nasty weather down here, my wimax connection is unstable. I am trying to improve on it but it's a catch 22 as I try to copy our large database across to the US. Apologies for the service.

In my opinion, the best is www.ondajerez.com

It's been run by José María Castaño for 15 years, Monday to Friday, 9:00pm Spanish time, and when I say "Spanish time" that includes the fact that it may begin at 5 or 10 minutes past the hour (3pm east coast US).

Castaño plays many live performances which he personally records at peñas and other places, even bringing up stuff he recorded years ago, in addition to new and old commercial recordings. There are occasional live interviews. Friday is often given over to contemporary flamenco, and there's usually one guitar night. Until one week ago we were doing a roundtable "talk and listen" thing every Monday, but the director has us on probation because a couple of guys got unruly, so it's all music and some explanatory talk.

The actual issue was Chacón versus Torre (gypsy vs. non-gypsy), and they came close to blows.

Thanks Zata. Sounds like what I would like to hear

21.00 hours is not really my favorite hour. I prefer 9.00 because thats when I´m in the workshop.
I can see on the webpage that they might one day in the future have some archives (archivos) so there´s hope for the future.

Anders, this is Spain, so radio and TV programs are erratic, don't begin on time or may skip days. There are no archives, and the program grid at the webpage may be outdated or simply inaccurate.

I believe they do repeat the previous night's program each day following, around midday, which would be the morning for you, but trying to find out the hour could be daunting.
