'add' (I understand there are English translations in the book). The english translation is cross referanced to the bar numbers of the music which are clearly marked through out and with a bit of work its all fairly clear. I have been bought four of these encuentro DVDs by my family, their very expensive and I,ve found them to be excellent. As well as the Nunez dvd I have Tomatito ,Requeni,Habichuela and they are all different all entertaining. The Nunez has alot of exercises in the first half with chapters on different technique, pulgar,,tremolo etc with the thumb work taking up nearly half of this section which is why I bought this one first .Ive had it nearly five years and it will be another five years until I think I will be playing most of whats here. Its full of great stuff , years of ideas to work on, its only fault is a couple of the performance pieces at the end are a bit obscure for a teaching vid IMO but the rest of the pieces are terrific. The best thing is Gerardos playing,he makes the simplest things sound awesome !!!! By contrast the Habichuela vid is a collection of pieces of which he the plays selected falsetas slowly after each performance, all great stuff and for a guitarist who hasnt released a great deal over the years its like haveing a extra cd from this great player and I burnt the performances to disk. The Tomatito and Requeni dvds are similer but Pepes is great value . Get the Nunez dvd and you'll be playing it for years
