Hey bernd - as Romanza says he is the main teacher on the London Pena guitar course, and he is a great player as well as teacher.

I know it's just a spelling mistake, but his name is Francisco Antonio, not Antinio - just thought I'd let you know in case you try putting his name in google.

RE: Francisco Antinio (in reply to Ailsa

The vids are great.
I'm glad to see these.
While he was teaching us some very simple solea stuff, every now and then he'd say something like "you can add little extra bits here and there like..." and play a snippet of something awesome. Nice to see him in full flow!!

Stu

ps. Did he look a bit like Rik mayall? or is it just me?

Hey Ailsa,

uff.... you´re right. Thank you for notifying me for the type mismatch as I´ve hammered his name on the PC keyboard. - Never heard the name "Antinio", so shame on me and my sticky fingers

You can still fix it by editing you first post, like I did above.

RE: Francisco Antonio (in reply to bernd

FYI:

If anyone is interested, this guitarist made an excellent instructional video (FLAMENCO, 1996, LARA Productions. Francisco Antonio Clinton) a while back.

The main focus is on domonstrating basic techniques like pica'o, ligado, rasgueado, etc., at various speeds and in different palos, so it's a great resource for beginners.

I don't know if this is still available in the U.K., but I'd recommend it for anyone who needs a close-up view of various techniques and examples of how they're applied.
