TALK ABOUT A F'IN LAME SHOW!!!

Just got BACK from the airport.

Booked with Air Berlin, got there on time to a huge line with one woman at the check-in. I asked the woman "Air Berlin? Spain?" She said "If you booked with Air Berlin, you're right here." About 15 minutes before my flight I'm up and and what do you know, it's the wrong line

The woman says "We do go to Spain, not Jerez, you should have asked about the city." Took no blame.

So I went to the sales counter, pointed directly at her (made sure she saw me pointing) and complained.

Air Berlin doesn't fly on the weekends but a nice attendant whose fault it was not spent an hour on the phone getting me on a flight through Barcelona with Lufthansa tomorrow early morning and a voucher for a meal during the layover. Thank God for nice people.

Hope the biotch gets fired though

Yeah John,
But the thing is these days is giving customer choice at the lowest price.
That's why all modern services are crap unless you are taking a McDonalds "Takeaway Special".
When I first went to Spain it was with Thomas Cook, in a big Victorian office with varnished walnut counters and brass fittings.
The person I saw took huge tombes of books off the library shelf and leafing through them and spent an hour getting all the right connections...ferries, trains, buses.
It was a respectable job back then...these days it's just a McJob until you find something better..

Anyway, it'll all be over and soon you'll be getting lessons from Gerardo in Sunny Spain!!

Yeah, you're right there. Positive thing is yelling and bitching at the workers until they call the boss to get what you want still works
