Barrio La Vina

So does someone play this piece? I know there are some vids on youtube but I was wondering if anyone was actually on the forum?

I'm learning it right now, just curious if there are any technical pointers.

Well I got into it because it didn't seem so brutal like Paco's later stuff. And Grisha also doesn't really pick easy things to play. Are you saying that Barrio is as tough?

For me it would be brutal. :) I picked Grisha because he seems to have done
a lot of Paco's stuff.

Yeah there are couple of spots that are tricky, but overall I'd say it's playable, much more so than things like La Barrosa or Cepa Andaluza (I think Grisha plays those).
Of course I'm far away from playing it with adequate tempo without flaws.

Tell me about it. The one where it starts on the second fret, runs up and down then switches to the 4th fret runs up and down. Now why..why, why would you do that, why would you compose it like that ?
