Tartan waistcoat

From Carlo Saura I know but a great song, super way to hold your guitar and an nice wee tartan waistcoat to boot. Must have been from the time the Armada got shipwrecked of the Scottish coast down at Saltcoats.

LOL Jim!
I like this couple a lot as do many Jerezanos so I hear!
They are a strange pair!
The example you posted is almost like Portugese "Fados"....their style is totally parallel to "mainstream" Flamenco, but it's somehow very powerful.
In this example, the underlying Bulerias influence just tips it into Flamenco puro IMO.
And there is no doubting that he has a totally authentic Flamenco sound, no matter how he looks, or how he holds his guitar..

Ah well....back to the drawing board, as usual..

cheers

Ron

Where exactly did the Armada go down, does anybody know? We so often hear it was off the coast of Ireland (West Coast) but you are saying it was off the coast of Scotland, is this true?????
