Rasgueados-Nuñez vid

I don't mind performances getting posted over at you tube, but this kind of thing defeats the purpose of an instructional vid: when a whole section of teaching gets put up.

Anyway since the damage is done already, perhaps this will answer some questions about the technique, and the "level" of the Nunez instructional video. He just goes through some of his personal techniques, I dont' consider this especially "advanced" or anything. Do you really need to know spanish to get what he is teaching here? "Here is the same but with a different finger..." etc.

Yeah, I know what you mean and its not the way to have Encuentro turn all their VHS into digital, meaning they could just see their product copied all over the net.

On the other hand, players who think its not worth spending the money on a product like Nuñez Encuentro DVD either have no money at all or no idea of what they are missing seing it all in 340 x 240 low quality and not having the score. All the Encuentro video/DVD production is worth every penny, cent or whatever currency.

I personally find that most on youtube is a waste of time. The quality is to low and I dont see the things I download more than once or twice.

On the other hand, a quality product like Rito y Geografia I can see again and again, so again worth every penny or cent (if you have them)

That clip is pretty much useless, if you dont understand spanish.

the frame rate doesnt allow you to see the fingers clearly during
the rasgueados.

I could see the first one he does, but all after that, i cant see wich fingers
he's using.

Press stop, wait till it loaded more of the video and than press again start. Its in your temp-directory and it should play correctly.

I have Nunez's DVD and I think it's excellent, it's also the most recent one, I think. Comprehensive although certain sequences are missing from the book. Some exercises and pieces are extremely difficult to play probably even for advances players. I'll try Merengue's DVD later on. I did make a copy for myself just in case the original got scratched.
