Guitar Tabs and Copyright on the Net

Well folks, it's even hit a dreary but popular Radio 4 consumer program, so it's not even "underground" any more...

Fast-Forward the time cursor to around 00:12:50

cheers

Ron

Personally im kind of sick of this crap, music is something very few people make a lot of money and "theft" is something that has been a natural part of becoming a musician for centuries ...

Its stupid to hasstle those people, i mean sure stop people from using copywrited music in theyr own album, but wtf is wrong with playing it ?for your own fun or at a wedding.

give me a brake man, only about 2 or 3% of people can play this.

expecially if there is no transcription of it by the original artist.

Acoustic musicians should sue record companies for using samplers and drummachines ...

But seriously if every teacher or musician had to pay royalty for every piece of music they play or teach there soon wouldnt be any musicians left to exploit.

Nestlés boss wants all water to be privatized, tough if you are living in a refugee camp without water in some famished area, then you´ll die if you cant pay...

most ridiculos thing i ever heard in my life.

what next ? pay taxes out of the money i make with guitar (thats my money ) ? my god this world its losing its values and quic !

whenever people ask me what i do and i tell em i am a flamenco guitarist they always say , yes but what do you do for money so is it too much to ask for that the tax people are the same

Didnt you read about the japanese guy who got jailed for playing beatles songs on his harmonica in a bar?

You are supposed to pay tax AND royalty if you play someone else's music. Quite an efficent way to kill all folkmusic..
