Hey Ash - I just saw your nick name on a few recent posts on this forum.

With a name like that you must be the guy selling Paco bootlegs on ebay, right?

I bought this PDL DVD off Jango Jazz on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PACO-DE-LUCIA-DVD-FLAMENCO-GUITAR-classical-gypsy-jazz_W0QQitemZ190053616717QQihZ009QQcategoryZ41567QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

It was a reasonably good quality DVD, although the interview was in Spanish

I believe he also sells the PDL/McLaughlin/DiMeola 1981 German concert DVD.

There are 5 tracks by PDL, 3 by Serranito (Victor Monge), 2 by Geronimo, 2 by Sabicas and 1 by Enrique De Melchor.

The selection is not bad, some good songs, although I wasn't that keen on the Sabicas and Enrique selections (Rumba, Fantasia, etc). The PDL ones are cool- its in black and white- must be quite early. Set in a house or restaraunt, with other people tapping out compas on the tables. The Jeronimo stuff is okay too, considering how old he is- he can't be more than 10-15.

There's also a bonus section with lengthy interviews with the guitarists. But the downside is that its all in Spanish.

I think this DVD is basically just a compilation of stuff from the "Arte Y Artistas" and "Rito Y Geografia" DVDs. It probably doesn't compare to owning the complete original sets, but its worth a look, if only for the PDL stuff.
