Ramon Montoya-genius
Sabicas-scary
Paco Cepero-best accompanist, dynamic, sensative.
Parilla-essence of jerez, soniquete, and, Paquera is always close by.
Esteban de Sanlucar-crystal clean, awesome melodies and rhythm.

Nunez-maestro
Tomatito-Accompanist extraordinaire, rhythmic strumming style, soniquete.
Manolo Sanlucar-special depth and sophistication of composition.
Chicuelo-all around GOOD.
Jose Maria Bandera- most under-rated, technically capable of anything, great sensitivity.

Niño Ricardo - He and paco are the reasons i started to play flamenco
Juan Habichuela - Great accompanist, sensitivity and dicipline as
Pepe Habichuela - I love his style
Marote - Same reason as romerito
Eduardo de la Malena - Great accompanist in the style of Niño Ricardo
Manolo Franco - One of the best traditional style accompanist, nice solo
Manolo Sanlucar - Everything he plays on 'Tauromagia' is brilliant
Manuel Silveria - I get hallucinations listening to him
Niño Miguel - Amazing guitarist
Tomatito - He is the essence of compas
Moraito & Diego del Morao - Jerez crystalized
Paco Cortes (Granada) - Interesting ideas
Jose Carlos Gomez - Everything i heard with him is brilliant
Manuel Parrilla - Great style and compas
Jose Antonio Rodriguez - I like his early stuff and La leyenda
Gerardo - Of course

I could go on and on, it depends on what mood im in and what im doing guitarwise at the moment, so i cant choose five and sometimes the border between modern and traditional is blurred so i cant really make that distinction either, sorry.

Well, here are my favorites whom I am most inspired by:

Gerardo- machanized timing, perfect technique, and incredible, innovative composer

Chicuelo- I feel like Chicuelo is playing whats in my soul. (insert vommiting emoticon here). Not that his playing is that moving, but its like what I would sound like if I were good.

Ricardo- Maestro Seriously, I get his material stuck in my head all the time. There isn't one single thing I that I don't like, and I can't say that for any other guitarist. Awsome sound and technique from the guitar. You da man, man.

Firefingers- For bringing out the passion, fire, and grace. Touching my heart. wailing on his axe while synthetic wind blows his perm. hot dancers.

You mean Niño Ricardo, right?
Otherwise, you get a gold star my prized pupil. Where is my "ricardo is god" lightning bolt photo? (just kidding...por favor!)

Paco, I still consider him modern
Vicente Amigo
Tomatito
Gerardo, but more than anything live....
The last one is all the rest

Niño Ricardo
Parilla de Jerez (I prefer cante)
Melchor de Marchena (Fabulous)
Sabicas
The last one is a homage to all those you never know who are because they never put their names on cante CD´s
