Movie cutting software needed..

Hi all,

I have some very very crazy movies on DVD which a person recorded during a workshop with an outstanding guitarrist. I took the class, too and got the DVD. I would upload some interesting things from that DVD for the people of the forum, but I have no software which is able to cut and save smaller movies from DVD..
Does somebody know a free programm or a demo which is able to do that? I only need it for this workshopDVD. So a 2-3 days demo would be ok. Any hints?? I would be happy about that, and I think you too.

Do a Google on 'DVD ripper' that's what you need.

Once you have ripped the DVD you will be able to edit it however you want in Windows Movie maker
