Pics for mike (Miguel)

Mike, this is what I was talking about in the monitoring thread.

This is my largest rig for bigger gigs. As you can see, the speaker cab on the right is behind me, but only just. Its also set higher up, and about a metre to my left. All these combined mean that I am not getting much sound, just enough to hear things. The sound is thrown outward, not sideways and downward. I would of course be deaf if I made a habit of positioning them directly behind my ears

PS note the terrible posture

Great pics Jon. They would work well for a CD sleeve?
That's quite a setup you have. So, the guitar goes to a mixer, then to preamp, then to speaker?

Jon,
I guess it all depends how much you are pumping through there, right? Personally that would still be too much for me in a noisy restaurant, but I guess we all have different tolerences.

Those are pretty artistic, sexy, noire type of pictures, though, Jon. Cool!

How did you guess? Yes, I had a shoot done during that gig and I am using the shots for the inside of my forthcoming CD.

Almost: guitar>preamp>powered mixer>speakers

Its a Yamaha 400w rig.

Oh I wouldn't dream of using that in a restaurant. Much too big and ugly.

For retaurants and weddings (most of gigs in fact), I use the Fender Passport.

Yeah thanks, thats the just the feel I wanted - B & W, noire and cool.
