What is the best webcam? 
I noticed that some of you guys have been making videos and uploading them, and I was wondering if you have any thoughts on which webcams work the best?

Dont know what specific brand will work with Mac the best,

but remember, you get what you pay for.

Dont buy anything under 50 bucks. Its garanteed to be crap. :)

Are you on Mac still?

It deppends on what you want.

your saying "webcam" so for me that meens that quality isn´t so important.
My webcam (logitech) works just fine for making foro uploads.
But if you want ToodK quality i guess the buckaroonies goes up a bit.

I'm on Mac, but I may switch to PC. I actually have a PC here in the house, but I'm not always able to use it. What I'm looking for is enough quality to make out fingers in pretty decent detail, and stream it via teleconferencing. For example, Todd, say I wanted to set up a teleconference with you and have you look at my playing. Or say I wanted to have Henrik show me some falsetas. Would a cheapie work for that? Which would be the level of detail that would be necessary for that?

Im not sure how good a "live" thing works.
I was haveing a conversation almost 2 years ago with Gerundino (peter) over the MSN.
and it was like

Hi...ca.....ong....by...wh..a..t.....sa..y....gin....bicas....RE....teado...
the sound couldn´t keep up.
Im not sure how good a live image would work WITH the sound and all.

my point is. maybe you need realy high quality stuff for a good transfer of image and sound.
