Hey, Lionel. You can also find this piece on his Live in Germany 96 DVD. I agree about those parts you like. The whole piece is one of his most haunting. Another passage that touches me a lot in this piece is starting 4:10 going to 4:40. He tenderly takes flight to like a bird through the sky, but there is also an ominous feeling... and then he destroys everything and brings you back to earth with a vicious picado!! haha

There existed a bootleg of this concert in multiple forms that contained more tracks from the concert. I loaded up "La Barrosa" many years ago after realizing the commercial release omitted it. Oddly, my bootleg VHS did NOT contain the magnificent Buleria that is on the DVD, and I discovered I was also missing the Taranta that some folks have...I assume that there is a bootleg on DVD out there that is the COMPLETE concert. Other tracks you might not have seen from that night are the Colombianas duet with Cañizares and also the Tanguillo "peroche". The reasons I didn't load em was the camera angles kind of sucked on those, but the playing was amazing. But not having La Barrosa on the DVD I considered sinful so that's why I shared it.

I agree about La Barrosa, really strange that it is not on the DVD! I know about your video of it on YT (btw thanks for that ;)), but I had no idea what other videos from the same concert are out there. I have to try to find the complete recording.
