Choosing Air Compressor for Spraying...

Hi Guys,

I plan to buy an air compressor for Spraying system by using HVLP gun.

What volume do you recommend 25Liter or 50L ? both are 8 bar pressure.

I will use it only for finishing my guitars (I'm not selling guitars it only a hobby:-)

For spraying guitars with HVLP picking the proper gun and needle size is much more important than the volume of the compressor. I tried HVLP and went back to standard high pressure spray equipment. With HVLP it was too difficult to control the thickness of the coats and spraying color coats uniformly was almost impossible. Of course that may have been due to the equipment I was using.
