El Arte Flamenco De La Guitarra

Just a followup on Juan Martin's El Arte Flamenco De La Guitarra book/cd~~~~

It is now back in stock at

Los Angeles Classical Guitar

http://www.lacg.net/

I love the book! Excellent customer service by LACG.

Thought I would give an update in case other forum members need this volume of
Juan Martin's series..

Judging by two Alhambras I saw on the main page, they have the craziest Alhambra prices I've ever seen... really really crazy.

When model 4 costs $1000, no wonder that Lenador says that you can't get anything "special" below that price point.

Model 7, more than $1600... wow... is that increase in price happening with other factory brands in the US or is it just this store?

Well, Alhambra has quite a selection of Professional and Signature guitars, in
addition to their concert and student lines. Most of these guitars also include
a hard case in the price ...in the LACG website.
The post was to assist new members with the book listed above. I am sure forum members
will research all flamenco guitars and vendors in making their decision in purchasing a guitar..
Remember, these suppliers worry about the custom issues and costs etc, so the buyers do
not have that direct headache. For me, worth it!

I had written "off topic:" but somehow I erased it without noticing.

Anyway I don't see the need to make a new topic just to ask fellow US members their experience with pricing.

Even if the store provides a case, for a $1000 I could've bought my 4F two times and include at least one case... that's basically the reason I asked "why so high right now?".
