Dear Kate, Thanks for posting your comment. But even more, it is good to hear from you on the Foro. You have been missing in action for many moons, and I (and I'm sure others among our more discerning members) have missed your observations and deep knowledge of all things flamenco, as well as other comments regarding Spain and things Spanish. Once again, thanks for posting. Good to hear from you. Cheers, Bill

Thanks for the messages Simon and Bill. I,ve had a difficult few years with parents in hospital and have spent a lot of time in Wales with them. Back in Granada Harold has been recording more and more rock, although last year he did a flamenco guitar album for a Canadian who lives in Granada. The crisis has hit flamencos badly and many have moved to Madrid for work or even as far afield as japan. the good news is hopefully the Eshavira will open its doors again this year, we have missed our second home and flamenco hang out. We have lost a good few friends and flamencos over the past few years as well, the older ones passing on and leaving huge gaps. i will try to visit the foro more often, haven,t had much to say recently. When I saw Esteban,s post on this film I thought I,d post to say what a great portrait of the Sacromonte elders, am so glad they made it before we lost more of them. hasta luego chicos de un Granada fria y bella !
