hola from the middle of nowhere, usa

its so great to finally join. ive lurked forever as it is...im a frustrated drummer who wants to learn guitar so i can stop getting noise complaints. i see a lot of similarities between any type of drumming and flamenco guitar.

but the challenge as an american- to learn what does not fly, no matter how much my western ears want it to.

i think this is a place where i may find hints or maybe even a set of rules on of just that.

anyhow, thanks for lettin me in ;) im really really excited!

Bienvenido!
I would almost say coming into flamenco as a drummer may be more of an advantage then as a guitar player.
Good luck!

Welcome to the foro. My first flamenco guitar teacher was a percussionist. If you're good at percussion, then that should be an asset.
