RE: new dvds for x-mas. (in reply to henrym3483

I ordered them and received 1 and 3 so far. I am brand new so don't know alot about Flamenco yet. I am excited about the DVDs, part one goes into detail about all the basics one at a time. It is kind of boring there but you know you are getting a good description/picture of what to really do. The camera angles are good and clear.

I have a hard time always rewinding(to get to a precise spot) to hear something again so I grabbed audio loops of the exercises and put them in Recycle so I could loop certain portions and slow them down.

For me the exercises are challenging without seeming impossible and they are interesting sounding where I have heard other exercises in other videos that are boring sounding, therefore not interesting to learn.

Another good thing is that he is clearly using the techniques in the example exactly as they are tought. Same fingering, same arm position etc.

Let me know if you want to know anything more, I am very happy with the purchase.
