Just found this old interview, it starts at 1:55:

I think he gave a great answer on the Flamenco puro question. Also the interviewer is really pretty.

Ive never seen that video Shroomy, his playing seems different, softer somehow perhaps its me going crazy.

In the interview around 3:20 he looks directly into the camera almost as if he is looking at us before laughing. He always had such a modest and kind aura about him, like a father or grandfather.

What I think to remember from a longer version of this video is that the interviewer was incredibly insensitive and not understanding that he should be unobtrusive and keep it short to let Paco prepare himself.

Just the more impressive how patiently and forthcoming Paco´s dealing with this man has been.
He just was the kindness in person.

That video is pretty rare. It comes from a daytime TV show I believe from Scotland. Paco was invited to play and he must have been in the UK for a gig or a recording or something because it was a really obscure daytime show. He did 2 pieces, the Bulerias and the columbianas "monasterio del sal" I cant find the columbianas anywhere but i saw it on a video years ago. I cant remember the name of the show either but they really good examples of him at about the time where his was playing was most creative.
