HELP - Francisco Navarro Guitar On-t...

My concert model has been completed and I am very excited to play it. It is coming from Ron Hudson in Houston to Minneapolis, MN (where I am).

The current humidity level is around 65%, but the temperature will be -7°F - 10°F. It will arrive by mail so I am worried about the shock on the guitar from the temperature variance. Any help on this?

Also, any recommendations on case humidity control and room humidity control?

Thank you!!

If your guitar was traveling from a cool, humid area to a hot, dry location I would be concerned. I don't think you will have any problems.

RE: HELP - Francisco Navarro Guitar ... (in reply to thedurphy

I bought a guitar from Lester DeVoe a few years back and he wouldn't send it (from sunny California to the Northeast) during a cold snap. We waited for a moderation in the weather (above freezing ) and shipped it 2 day air. From the weather report we are in for a cold spell later in the week. I'd hold off for a break in the weather.

Since the shipping is included in the price you may have to pay extra for 2 day shipment but it would be worth it.

SHip it to me first to climatize it, then I'll pass it on after I break her in.
