Microphone Stand

Hi all,

Well slightly sad question here but just gonna get a new microphone stand as my last one was a vocal stand and had to go up high to come down to the guitar sound hole.

I would like to make it compact as possible and don't need to move it much.

This looks perfect.

But then I saw this and it looks even more compact and I prefer the small solid base but I think the 430 mm height is a bit low. I am sure it could work but I guess a bit more height
before the boom would be preferred.

Anyone got any experience or suggestions they could share.

If you play for dancers, the one with 3 legs transfers less vibrations than the circular base kind. In my experience.

I use the round base stand in a smaller version as a table stand. It already has a good vibration absorber of rubber under the bottom. You can put an addional caoutchouc rubber on the floor and put the mic stand on it. The stand is almost fully isolated from the vibrations.

Thanks guys,

I hadn't actually given dance vibrations much
thought so that's good to know.

It's just for home use so I think the base would be
ok. More a question of height.
