Solea rasgueado

Have a look a this video at 0:45

He uses that AM-P-P abanico and starts with a downstroke right? Does he play tresillos or 16th?
I'm not sure. It's just to fast.
This might be a silly question, but these rasgueado are pretty insane.

It's a bit difficult to understand for me. Maybe I should take one of those skype lessons.
