Paco de Lucia, movie star? 
Has anyone here seen the British produced Western film "Hannie Caulder" featuring Raquel Welch. It has Paco de Lucia donning a poncho and a sombrero and jamming out by the beach. Who knew???

If you want to see Paco de Lucía in a speaking part, check out the film 'Carmen' by director Carlos Saura from 1983. Paco can be seen right in the first scene, but also in others. Obviously he was cast for his playing and not for his acting skills... His flamenco versions of the melodies from the original opera are wonderful. The entire film is on Youtube (or at least was when I posted this):
