Greetings from Sydney

I'm no spring chicken but I'm totally new to the foroflamenco as of about 10 minutes ago. I have dabbled with guitar over the years - had some flamenco lessons when young but never had a proper flamenco guitar, just a classical guitar that I lowered the bridge on, put on high tension Savarez stings and stuck a couple of tap boards on the front. But with work and family I found I didn't play much for some years. More recently, I did battle with a bad cancer but seem to have that under control at the moment (though ever watchful). So now I have started to play again, and want to get back into learning a bit more seriously, and specifically flamenco. I'm curently looking for a suitable instrument that will speak to me. It's not so much about brand name or price but more the sound and playability. The search continues.
Cheers,
Grahame

Hi Grahame,
Good to hear you're winning the battle.
A friend of mine is selling a white Esteso which has a beautiful character
and is easy to play.He wants $ 6,500 which may not suit you but it has the magic sound and you might be able to negotiate.

Cheers,Charles. (Sydney)
