Valuation

Hello to all

First, I'm not sure if this post should be here or in the Sale section but here goes.

I have a Conde guitar that I'm thinking of selling. It is a Hermanos (Felipe V) AF25 /R model, made in 2009.
I boought this from Juan at El Mundo Flamenco in London.
It has back and sides made from Quilted Maple and looks quite fantastic and has great tones and quite loud sounding.

Anyway, I was just wondering what sort of money would I expect to get for it if I decided to part with it.

Regards Martin

There are a few things to consider:
1. Is there a market for this guitar in the UK? If so, check out ebay
and see what these instruments are selling for in your part of the world
with your currency.
2. If you have to sell it internationally you may need to consider that there
will be a discrepancy between the values of different currencies. I would check out
eBay in the US as well as in mainland Europe and different guitar salons and how they
are pricing these guitars.
3. Find out how much it sold for in 2009 and what a comparable model by Felipe
Conde would sell for new.

You have to do a bit of investigation to come up with an appropriate price.
Good luck.

In the UK, second hand Felipe V Condes from this period in good condition tend to sell around £3000 to £4000.

Thanks for the replies. The Guitar is mint.
I will try and add a picture as it's a stuning instrument, it's not the usual maple, it has what I think is called birds eye..
