A star is born...

A duet w/ my 9-year-old sister... check out her hitchhiker's thumb, she will be playing crazy alza pua riffs in no time. :)

Really nice, cute little star! No wonder she plays good already, she has a great teacher with free lessons whenever she wants.

Did she started playing by herself or did you convince her to learn guitar? I also have a little sister with more or less the same age difference, but she only cares about schoolgirl pop songs and stupid brand clothings...

Please post more videos of her in the future to keep us updated on her progress.

She wanted to play some kind of instrument, nothing in particular, so we figured we'd give her my old guitar. She started -- and is currently taking -- lessons with my first teacher, Anatoly Shapiro, and it's pretty incredible seeing him work with a beginner for the first time in 13 years!! Of course I am helping her out as well.

I hear ya on how annoying the pop stuff can be... she is actually homeschooled (as were all of us), so luckily we get to avoid all of that.
