Hey guys - I went to check out this guitar, and subsequently found out that money I could have used for has to go to something else. Bummer.. Anyway, here's the Craigslist post for it: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/msg/3026159521.html The price is firm. The guitar is in great condition. Pretty minor playing wear. Action is very low. Neck is dead straight. If it were me, I'd raise the action a bit, but that's just me. Scale length feels to be 650, but that's just by feel. Seller can probably provide specs. Sound is very even; trebles are solid and held up nice to very hard picado. Basses are metallic and punchy, and have a bit of buzz. But I think that's mostly on account of the low action. Over all, the sound has opened very nicely. It's responsive and just feels like an awesome guitar. This is not a Conde dud. I have no stake in selling the guitar. It's owned by a Bay Area guitarist who has essentially retired from playing and this guitar is just sitting around waiting for a new owner. The seller and his wife are sweethearts and it would be great to find this guitar a new home. Since I can't buy, I figured the least I can do is post it here. As for the audio, it was recorded on my iPhone 4S. The string spacing is a little tighter than what I'm used to so I have a few stumbles on account of it. Apologies. I tried to play a bunch of stuff to show off what the guitar sounds like. It's compressed from the iPhone, and then probably recompressed due to Sound Cloud. C'est la vie. But to my ear, I hear the same important stuff in the audio that I heard first hand when I played it. First bit is capoed at 2, then no capo. http://soundcloud.com/brian-moran-2/conde-hermanos-2000-negra
