Jim Marshall passes away....

I have played electric guitar for about 12 years before making the switch to flamenco... and in all my years of playing, I have always had a Marshall in my little amps collection... saying that Jim made the rock'n'roll sound possible would be an understatement, and his legacy will live on in the wonderful rock records we all love!

RIP. He lived a long life considering the health problems he had as a child. I didn't know that he taught Mitch Mitchell how to play drums until today.

He'll be missed.

He gave us the phrase "Marshall stack" and nothing even comes close to a Les Paul Gold Top through 2 4x12s wound up to 11.

RIP Jim, and thank you for the wonderful sounds you gave us all
