Picado de la Caballo

Hi.. I have a problem.
When i play a fast picado starting with my m finger i start to galopp dam daga dam daga dam

I´ve been working on starting my picados with the m finger since january and i still galopp. Any advice? any good exercises?

ya, keep practicing! :)

Do you practice triplets? Ta ta ta Ta ta ta Ta ta ta. That should help. And also keep practicing all your scales and licks starting with the m.

Henrik,
one more thing. Keep the SOUND that you want always in your head, and make the m and i make the sound you want. Make the fingers follow the sound, don't let the sound follow the fingers.
