Help ! Dutch translation CD review E...

Hola listeros, I need help from our Dutch speakers. Can you translate this review of emilio Maya's CD Temple which appeared in a Dutch magazine Tablao Flamenco. I was giong to attach it but not knowing how will write it out . If you can translate in to English I can do the Spanish to show Emilio.

Aanwist

Excuse any spelling mistakes I've made and thanks in advance. Its great to know that Emilio's CD is slowly spreading around thanks mostly to word of mouth and review like this in foreign press. Of course I am assuming the review is a good one

Hi,
I dont know dutch, but dutch is cloth to germen...
so I understand a bit if I dont consentrate...just let
it flew trough my brain^^ When I try to understand..I only understand sausage.

(I dont understand the first sentence.)
Its Mayas first CD.
He has family routes in Belgium.??really???
He composed 8 compositions by himself..(on this CD?)
He plays with much energie, round compositions, ...
Hes autodidact and (you can hear that he??->) learned much from Paco de Lucia
and Manolo sanlucar. But he made it on his special personal way.
(with much influence of PDL and MS but in his own style)

I dont understand the rest...
I thnik a dutch person translated
the text of Emilios CD cover into dutch..1:1
There are many similarities.

The alegria is very cool, he played. (^_-) The CD is a secret hint!^^

Hope I could help a bit.

I posted the translation above, you can be 100% shure that he review is a good one.
And I can tell the audience that his CD is really great when you like Pacos stuff... in LUZIA style. There is a faboulos bulerias on the CD. And a rondena which sounds hard as Paco. At the end he goes in rythm..very good. If you look for some stuff to get new ideas to compose.... buy it. (^_-)bb

Hi Kate !

Glad I can help you! I am Dutch, so here is the English translation.
He is getting known around here, see the cd on the dutch sites too!

Emilio Maya is for the Dutch public also an unknown guitarist, although he often performed as the accompanist of Enrique Morente, Carmen Liñares, Estrella Morente and the dancer Antonio Canales. The Granadian guitarist has by the way performed in Belgium several times. Recently his solo CD Temple was published. Eight pieces composed by himself. Without any exeption all beautiful, complete compositions, tastfully composed by a guitarist who is proud being formed autodidact by the masters Paco de Lucia and Manolo Sanlucar. Beside that, Maya keeps plenty of personality to put his own mark on it. His sound is clear and clean, the compositions are very interesting and performed with a high technical standard. It keeps its musical pureness and its dynamic. To be short, an asset

Thank you so much. So 'Aanwist' means recommended or a 'must have'. Good, Emilio will be pleased. Also good to hear it is available at Dutch sites. If you let me know which sites I can put a link on my website. We already have it for sale on US, UK and German sites, so word is spreading. So far its only available online or in local shops or at Emilio's gigs. Discussions are under way with a distributor to work with andalamusica as without distribution its an uphill struggle, though we are selling the CDs like hot cakes we would love to see them in every shop in Spain and specialists hops round the world.

Glad to hear the forum members who bought a copy are still enjoying it. Thanks everyone for the input.

Kate

Hi Kate, yes it is a kind of must have.

For instance, if you collect something, and you bought another thing for that collection, we call it an aanwinst.

here is the duch site where I saw Amalio
http://www.guitarrabuena.nl/nieuws_CDFrameset.htm

I thought it was on another too, but I cannot find it anymore, maybe I was mistaken.

If I see it on another, ( Perhaps it was a german site) I let you know ok?

Peter

Hi Peter, Thanks for that link. I wonder who is supplying them with the Cds as they are so expensive at €20, local shops here sell for €12.

Now I need another translation. What are they saying.... Thanks so much.

EMILIO MAYA - Temple

EMILIO MAYA is een naam om te onthouden ! Met Temple geeft hij een indrukwekkend visitekaartje af: technisch begaafd, composities met een kop en een staart en een zeer fraaie gitaarsound.
Daar houden wij van.

Aanrader !

Hi Kate.

The prices of cd's are here higher than the rest of europe, the goverment trying to get a grip on it, but it seems difficult.
Also this shop is allways a little bit more expencive than the others.

So, here the translation!

Emilio Maya is a name to remember! Temple gives a good impression of his impressive capabilities: Technically gifted, compositions with a head and a tail and a very nice guitarsound.
That's what we love.

An Asset!

So, Avery good revue, but is something else possible???
Peter

Wow great review. Thanks for the translation. I tried the babel online translator but it came out almost nonsense in English.
