My photo of the week 17 

This one is rather special. I just bought one of the most beautiful folding cameras ever made (the Voigtländer Bessa II from 1951). It's a legend and can fetch quite a bit of money in good order. Mine was a bargain and in pristine condition.




It remained in its case, unused since 1962 until last night when I ran some film through it. It still works

Seeing the way your historical gear collecting is going, I look forward to the day when you'll be shooting with your head under a cloth while holding up a mortarboard of flash powder
