This forum and intellectual property

We have had a few posts recently, containing scanned images of copyright material. May I draw your attention to our forum agreement:

quote:

you shall not:

4. Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, software or other material protected by (i) intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws or (ii) by rights of privacy or publicity, if any unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents to do the same.

I realise this is an innocent practise but I cannot allow it. The end result may be that this site is shut down and/or I get sued

If you notice this in future, or find material already here that carries someone else's copyright, please let me know. I am going to trawl through our archives and check previous posts.

Hope you understand.

And may I add on that I (and many others) would definitely want the forum to stay on, in order for everyone to learn from and enjoy it. So let's just do whatever we can to keep it going. Even if you don't care about the foro, let's respect Simon for his effort in setting it up by keeping him out of trouble.
