Learning falsetas

I used to think that learning lots of falsetas was a primitive and outmoded way of learning how to play technique and guitar, but I've definitely changed my tune. A falseta is a small etude, focused enough that you can learn it in a day, yet containing enough new material to teach something that you can use for the rest of your career. Brilliant!!

Now you're talking - I went over to just exercises for a while but I only warm up with them now and am taking pieces apart falseta by falseta. It all adds to the toolbox and they can be adapted across palos.

Simon,
I think it would be funny to be like some of those guys in Andalucia, that only know two falsetas, but can play them all for each palo! I think I'm going to adapt one of my falsetas like that...
