Broke my thumbnail

Unfortunately a broke my thumbnail a a couple days ago (I know so sad ), and you guys may THINK that you know where this thread is going BUT you don't.

I am actually happy that I broke it mainly because of one thing: I can't keep compas while playing over a loop. Since I broke my thumbnail, I have nothing else to procrastinate with because my falsetas sound like balls without a little bit of thumbnail (in comparison atleast). I have actually been sitting here everyday for multiple hours just playing tapado and rhythm to as many Alegrias, Bulerias, and Solea compas tracks that I can my hands on. And I can't even tell how much my rhythm all together has improved, even with the metronome I feel much more confident and I had no previous issues with the metronome anyways! I am actually grateful that this little mistake happened!

So my advice to all of you procrastinators out there who don't want to practice rhythm, BREAK YOUR THUMB NAIL

Cheers, haha.

Better still, break your arm and spend the next couple of months just listening carefully to good Flamenco CDs.

cheers,

Ron

Haha even better! I will be right back, going to jump in front of a fast moving vehicle. Won't even cost me a nickel, thank you free health care.
