Bernal or Hermanos Sanchis?

I want you to tell me the differences about the two luthiers. I'm intending to spend 1300 euros to get a second guitar for my classes. Which do you prefer best?

having said that, I'd prefer the Bernal as far as playability or even more on 'feel' on both hands, and the Sanchis soundwise. The S had a very powerful sound resonating to the belly, yet even I'd may go for the feel

They are both ok guitars for the money. I agree with what Beno said. Bernals are in general softer and easyer to play.

If buying a Bernal, shop around and dont believe that the best is the most expensive. Consistancy is not the strong part of Bernal guitars, but a good one is a good guitar

When I went at Bernal's shop, i tried ALL of his guitars up to about the price of 7000 or something.
In the end all of them were good instruments, but i prefered the first he gave me, that cost 1200!

There must be a problem with my judging of guitars, but i was with a pro player, that agreed on the first guitar!

I dont think there´s any problems with your capacity of judging. Bernal guitars are inconsistant.
A typical factory guitar problem which also includes sanchiz

Anders,

Hermanos Sanhis Lopez guitars are not factoy guitars, however the most

valuable of their instruments is 1F. On the other hand, current guitars made at

Bernal are somehow factory quality, not totally but near that.

At the moment I am playing on a 1F Madagascar and it is definitely one of the

best sounding most comfortable instruments I have ever played on. Also, I like

a modern sound and this guitar has it, it's bold, loud and projects excellent.

I am now comparing it to guitars such as:

1. Jose Rodriguez Cordoba

2. Jesus Bellido Granada

3. F Extra Hnos Sanhcis

4. a few Condes from Felipe V

5. Vicente Carillo primera

Models 1F and F Extra are definitely fully handmade instruments,

the 2F is cheaper but still good value for the money, bear in mind

that 2F is not signed inside by Hermanos.

I have been to thier workshop couple of times and I would call it

for a larger size taller, factoy is Alhambra, Almansa, Rodriguez, Aparicio....

for a price on around €2000 Jose Manuel Fernandez Granada is also great.
