The Phrygian modal scale is common for Buleria, Taranta and other palos. You should also practice the open E Locrian scalar pattern since it works with Buleria in por medio (open A Phrygian).

here are a couple
the first is a phygian dominant [or call it what you like] 5th mode of the d minor scale
the second appears alot in gypsy and arabic music...[ call this whatever you like, i'm sure there is a name for it]
also out lined the chords that act as the tonic or dominant for the chord

Don't only think in terms of key. You should also know the standard scale patterns that can be shifted from one fret to another. Practice the Phrygian scale starting on the low E string AND the Locrian mode in the key of E. You will use the Locrian modal scale in the key of E when playing Buleria in A Phrygian. E Locrian consists of the same notes as A Phrygian.

Eventually you should learn all of the modes generated by the major scale and be able to play a scale pattern for each one starting on the low E and ending on the high E. This way you make use of all the strings and can play a scale through (usually) two octaves and a minor third in the same position.
