Going to Istanbul 

I will be in Turkey from oct 21 to oct 27 if there are any flamencos on the board in that area. It is mainly a friends wedding but I hear of a possible gig, mostly likely a rumba gig but who knows. So if anyone wants to meet up in that area I will be there all week!

I was in Istanbul a couple of years ago. You will love it! There did not seem to me to be much of a music scene, I expected more. Hopefully you will find it more to your liking.

must be a very close friend, thats alot of effort...


theres a couple of guys on my facebook friends from instanbul u should send them a message ...they might be able to set you up with some gigs or workshops who knows..



theres this guy, not sure if i ever spoke to him but hes on my list and theres a few other guitarists so i imagine hes into flamenco ..

this guy ..again the same , never spoke to him but hes on my list..and again i see a few familliar faces on his friends list...might not necesarely be into flamenco but guitar..maybe a rumba band or fusion , i dont know

and this girl...i think shes a dancer or defenetly into flamenco...it dosent say where shes from but i am pretty sure the language looks like turkish..
