Cantiñas: Simon

Hola

I wrote a lengthy post on cantiñas (since I live in Cádiz, this is sometinh I know about). When I tried to send, the program had logged me out. When I logged in again, my message was lost.

Mala suerte.

Sean

Simon has left the building. He's on vacation, although he will be checking in here from time to time. It's rough luck, but you should periodically save long posts in your own computer before you post. We've all lost long ones....

Sorry about that.

Sean,
I feel for you man...
It's a total bugger when you spend ages considering and editing a long post and then when you are more or less happy with it, push "OK" and have it vanish into the ether, never to be seen again....
I know the feeling. You just don't have the energy to re-write it again!

A lot of us have been victims of that! LOL!

So a word to everybody (in the absence of Simon....)

IMPORTANT!!! PAY ATTENTION!!

When making a long post, either do it in a text editor or right click and copy to clipboard every so often if you are doing it "live".

cheers (and commiserations)

Ron

Sorry Sean,
The timeout was set to 45 mins. I have upped it to 60 mins to see if this might help.

Sean, it's been two weeks now...the painful loss is but a bitter memory. Please do try again...compose it on Word and then post.

Please.
