i just joined the forum

hello, my name is luke, my journey into the world of flamenco has just begun, i started studying flamenco guitar playing 3 months ago. I have some great teachers, who mean the world to me, and i am completely obsessed with becoming a great guitar player.

i have dabbled with the instrument for about 16 years now, i mainly focussed on electric guitar, and played with a pick. I had some very bad habits which i practiced for a long time

since i found flamenco music, i have started to learn guitar again, from scratch. I am focussed on flamenco, I have started to also study palmas, and am interested in finding a teacher for cajon.

i have been watching performances on a regular basis, and have been lucky enough to sit on stage during a performance, which allowed me to feel the compas through the floor, the way you working guitar players must. I am really looking forward to becoming a good enough guitar player, to accompany dancers and a canteo, so i am working very hard every day.

I have a long way to go, and am excited to talk to some of the players on this forum, it is very nice to meet you all

Hey Marduk,

It's a steep hill to cllmb. I right at the bottom as well.

There's some pretty candid players using the forum who are more than happy to share their knowledge. It a great resource.

thanks sean, i recognise a few of the names, and know a couple of the members. it is nice to meet another beginner, im surrounded by amazing guitar players, but i also want to hear about the progress of other beginners,
